inglês Paper Lives beautifully captures the vibrant streets of Istanbul with equally impressive cinematography. The film is bright, colorful, creative, with a slightly alternative vibe. At the center of it all is a guy—almost homeless, a bit dense—who thinks he can glide through life effortlessly. But the last 20 minutes pack a solid punch, reminding me that Turkish cinema is something to watch out for. They’re seriously bringing some top-notch films to the table. ()
