Nápoles, início dos anos 80. Aldo e Vanda vão separar-se, depois de ele revelar que está a ter um caso. Os dois filhos são apanhados no turbilhão de ressentimento. Mas os laços que unem as pessoas são inevitáveis, mesmo sem amor. Agora, 30 anos depois, Aldo e Vanda continuam casados. (Midas Filmes)

At first, the dad seemed like someone you'd want to punch, and I thought, "Oh great, is this going to be some feminist statement about how terrible men are?" But then the mom started acting out of line too, and I found myself wondering where it was all headed. About halfway through, I thought maybe it deserved three stars—after all, for a family drama, it wasn't as over-the-top and loud as you'd expect from an Italian film. But then things took a turn, and the emotions just stopped making sense.
