From Netflix’s lineup of films I hadn’t seen, this fantasy caught my eye right away. But wow, was I wrong to expect something fun with a bit of humor. Instead, it’s a painfully dull fantasy with awkward moments and zero excitement. The chef doesn’t even get more badass after discovering her superpowers, which is saying a lot. And she wears the same blue chef outfit for the whole movie—guess the budget was tight.
