You needn’t live in a war zone to experience war. The conflict in eastern Ukraine is part of everyday life. In the countryside, an alternative to the faltering social system has emerged with communities and volunteers providing help in unexpected places: a pizzeria, a Christian center, and a dog shelter. The film is a social travelogue about self-sufficiency – a small visit to several human microcosms. (MFFK Febiofest)
