Na noite de seu aniversário, Parvis rouba uma garrafa de bebida em uma danceteria. Porém, ele acaba pego e, como é filho de iranianos exilados, é obrigado a fazer trabalhos comunitários em um centro de refugiados na Saxônia, Alemanha, onde vive. Lá, ele se apaixona por Amon, que fugiu do Irã com a irmã, Banafshe. Juntos, os três curtem um verão com noites sem fim, primeiros amores, a força a juventude —e a percepção de que nenhum deles se sente plenamente em casa na Alemanha. "Sometimes I just feel that we are just reminders of our parents' pain" - The German movie No Hard Feelings is a strongly emotional affair with an occasional very sad tinge. So I actually don't quite understand why almost no emotion came over me while watching the film. Despite that, I quite liked it. (60%)

Faraz Shariat’s film captivates with a story that tackles several equally topical issues at the same time: interpersonal relationships (family and partner), the search for identity in a "foreign" country or the issue of refugees. (spoiler) I find the German title, “Futur Drei” very appropriate given the film's outcome, as there are only Future I and II in German. (end of spoiler) In the end, this is a successful confession from a truly young director who will hopefully give us other similarly strong films in the future.
