As vacas, o leite, a vida camponesa honesta e dura, e o funcionamento duma cooperativa que parece ter boas intenções com a aldeia e a sua independência das grandes redes comerciais, mas, ao mesmo tempo, abusa do seu poder sobre os camponeses. Até que, uma Mulher Rebelde local a enfrente. Interessante. Mas quando se sente uma espécie de «eia, agora algo vai acontecer» duma cena posterior, e nada acontece e os créditos finais começam. «E é só isso?» (23/01/2020)

Grímur Hákonarson knows exactly what he's doing, and once again, he delivers a solid Icelandic drama. The stunning landscapes and the rugged, no-nonsense nature of the characters are definite highlights, especially if you're a fan of Iceland and have experienced its charm firsthand. The storyline revolving around a cooperative scandal had me a bit skeptical, though. I just can't picture something like that happening in Iceland. Anywhere else, sure—but in Iceland? There’s no way you could sweep a scheme like that under the geyser… it’d surface in minutes before anyone could even enjoy the chaos they've caused. (01/01/2021)

Now's the time to leave this place, I've got the world to see." - The words of the upbeat final song suggest much about the feelings and future direction of the protagonist Inga, who, after the death of her husband, defies the harsh rules of the community in which she lives.
