Eye Without a Face is a thrilling contemporary spin on the classic horror set up of retribution for the Peeping Tom who peers into the lives of others. Henry, a reclusive computer hacker who spends his days and nights by spying on beautiful women in his neighborhood, becomes convinced that one of the women he is stalking is involved in a string of murders which leading to true terror. Like Rear Window, this film will stay with you. Part cautionary tale, part nightmare, after screening, you will never uncover your computer's camera again. (Cinemax)

inglês The concept is fantastic, giving a glimpse into the world of hackers and all the things they can pull off on a computer. Plus, Dakota Shapiro did a great job portraying the unhinged Henry. However, as the movie progressed, it started throwing in a bunch of ridiculous plot points that might not bother someone less tech-savvy, but they really annoyed me. The final twist completely upended the story, but by then, the film had already lost the intriguing atmosphere it had been building, and the ending felt more like a chore than a satisfying conclusion.
