inglês I somewhat understand why the second episode is the only one to have fallen into the lower end of user ratings. Kaer Morhen was a pleasure, as was Vesemir, and Kim Bodnia’s casting seems to be working so far (the chemistry between him and Geralt works perfectly). However, I was really annoyed by what they did with Eskel. Turning the quiet and reserved Witcher into such an idiot who indulges in loose women and booze is simply unforgivable. The leshen, as a familiar monster from the games, was enjoyable, but Eskel—oh well. Additionally, the subplot involving Yennefer is heading in a direction I’m not too fond of. I hope for a slight improvement. 6.5/10 ()

inglês This episode took a sharp turn from the first in that it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The disco at Kaer Morhen felt like a bad joke; it's as if Vesemir decided to throw a village fair in spring. Equally ridiculous was the elven mushroom party in the cabin on chicken legs. Add to that a lot of unnecessary chatter and Geralt's repeated posing with the sword, and it all became quite annoying, to be honest. ()

inglês After two episodes, Season 2 seems much more accessible to the classic viewer not overly familiar with the source material. This is good for many people, but die-hard fans will probably miss more juice. The truth is that so far there is not a single memorable scene, which certainly cannot be said about the first season, which had several already in the first two episodes. ()
