inglês Scott Adkins can somehow act in watchable B-movies. Close Range is two classes above the recent Zero Tolerance. It's a little disappointing that there's more shooting than fighting, but the fights are great. Adkins is a beast and the very opening scene in the tenement building is among the film's highlights (I love knives), after that I was only impressed by the ending where he gets in a fight against two maniacs, with decent choreography, cinematography and grit. The shootouts are rather average. There is no need to discuss the story here, was there any?? :) 55% ()

inglês Scott Adkins is typically tough in this, but at least he shows us that he's still a force to be reckoned with in the properly action-packed scenes, and very few from the younger generation can match him. More importantly, the overall choreography managed to impress in places, which is definitely not the norm. ()
