Still great even though it seems to me that they often unnecessarily complicate things to extremes and the story loses its clarity. Superb one-liners with unbelievable cadence. The episode with the heaven where you can shit anywhere is a favorite and the writers should get a prize for the part with the vat of acid. This is the best cartoon sci-fi ever, or something like that. With a perfect moral. ()
I found the fourth season a bit weaker overall, but then episode eight hit, and it completely blew my mind. Whoever came up with the acid vat idea deserves a big thank you — and a gallon of local beer. It's also interesting to see Rick’s character evolve; he's not as much of a deadbeat as he used to be. I'm definitely on board for the next season, even if only a few of the ten episodes are truly epic while the rest are just solid entertainment for an average day. ()
You’d have a hard time convincing me that the fourth season was weak, since I spent the whole time (with the exception of the sixth episode) laughing. Rick made my brain disappear and replaced it with an endorphin dispenser. As usual, I had a great time, and I was thrilled that I could, in this day and age, enjoy some seriously politically incorrect humor. ()
