In Paris, the same crew of skate kids meet up every day at The Dome – behind the Museum of Modern Art, opposite the Eiffel Tower – to skateboard, goof off and get stoned as they ignore the smart crowd of art lovers. They are inseparable, bound by complicated family ties. Boredom, the lure of easy money and the anonymity of the Internet all have a role in tearing their world apart. inglês In Larry Clark's films, the traditional screenplay structure is more about how everything will be absorbed by the audience. Exposition? The viewer will be continuously exposed to what they won’t enjoy. Throughout, it will be the viewer who is confronted with what is being offered, and the resolution won’t come. Unless they resolve it themselves with their own life views. A piss-poor old rocker being skipped over by skaters, stuck again in a hellish cycle of apathy. Critics reasonably see this as one-dimensional, lacking passion and joy… exactly as the world often is. Impressionism isn’t always kind. ()
