Um filme lindamente aberto e honesto sobre amizade, sexo e vida. Um erotismo invulgarmente autêntico, belo e, por vezes, verdadeiramente sufocante, desempenhos surpreendentemente excelentes, especialmente por parte de dois jovens, e uma descrição psicológica totalmente brilhante. Achei o epílogo triste um pouco contraditório - por um lado, deu uma dimensão mais profunda ao que aconteceu (e tocou-me com força), por outro lado, não era necessário para a grande impressão do filme e, basicamente, só perturbou o seu humor positivo e o gosto pela vida. This film is quite conflicting from my point of view. I had heard and read positive reviews about it before, so I was determined and had to check it out. And what I got was not at all what I expected. I was quite disappointed with the two lead actors – Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna – they seemed quite obnoxious and their acting seemed quite far-fetched at times. But Maribel Verdú was at her best - her performance immediately got my attention. The whole story is built up quite steadily and the script is colourful and spicy. And the occasional spoken interventions in the plot added originality to the film. Well, it won't be my favourite film, but in terms of quality, it's above average in many aspects. (13/05/2010)

Whoever didn’t dream about something similar when they were seventeen must have been living their lives wrong. Only in this country you need to replace the sea with a fishpond. The result could still be… similar. (01/12/2015)
