inglês Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn are the heart and soul of Lovely, Still, a film that at first glance might seem like a simple, sentimental romance, but turns out to be a deeply moving chapter of life, heading toward a clear conclusion. Early on, it feels light and pleasant, but as soon as Landau steps in, you know his character is going to stir things up and take the story in an unexpected direction. The best part comes at the end, where the film completely flips the script with a twist that left me in awe. What starts as a quiet, 70-minute journey turns into something far more profound, making me reflect on it for the rest of the day. It’s a bittersweet yet beautiful film, with just enough hope left.
