Tsumiki no ie

A glimpse into the past in the memories of a Japanese old man who lives in a world flooded by water with multi-storey tower blocks. The film is shot with feeling and harmony. The entire short is accompanied by a beautiful and low-key score, and in short, this is a unique and well-deserved Oscar-winning film, equal in quality and depth to Miyazaki's features. (14/07/2010)
