inglês The funny prologue already hints at what’s to come. The sixth installment doesn't change the concept of the first one, but the sovereign downplaying of many moments gives it the hallmark of an auteur film. While the previous films suffered from the routine syndrome, this one, with its distinctive inserts (the Bond-esque subtitles, the blood on a smiley face, the face molded into the sheet), rises above the standard and entertains throughout. Yet the initial excitement starts to wear off after a while, correctness starts to come into play (no nudity, no moving camera viewfinder during the murders) and the whole thing falls apart with the annoying rescue of small children. It is clear that it was 1986 and as one of the first swallows of the flock of harmlessness, this installment of the bloody series appeared. 3 ½. ()

inglês Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI has a good sense of humor that somewhat revitalizes the series. The same formula is still here, but it's the humor, the development of the mythology, and fairly tolerable characters that at least add a touch of mediocrity, which was significantly lacking in some previous installments. Jason isn't exceptional in any way here, but you still care about how well he'll manage to kill people around him. And it's funny in places. ()
