inglês Before the Fall is predictable, with the production values of a made-for-TV movie. It’s more impressive in its chilling moments than in its naïvely sentimental passages. However, the existence of such films is appreciated. ()

inglês Bouzov draped in Nazi banners or Princes Cursed in Time. In a few of its details, it gets under the skin (gym class with a grenade, the preacher’s hands on the shoulders of the bereaved), but sometimes, due to predictability, it fades into emptiness (swimming under the ice). The idea that when it comes to actions, the seemingly weak can be among the strongest is a solid one, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Nazi era, when combined with practically any theme, gives filmmakers an advantage right from the start, and this advantage should be offset by higher expectations for the overall result.
