A solid documentary that really highlights just how much of an extrovert Van Damme is—no way he would’ve made it in Hollywood otherwise, and that’s just a fact. The story of how he landed his first film roles is pretty intriguing. The segment on his drug issues doesn’t reveal much new, but it probably didn’t need to. What stood out most was hearing from Jean-Claude’s friend who came to America with him. It gives an interesting perspective, especially since their friendship had a bit of a bitter ending for a while.
