Acapulco

Eugenio Derbez has a knack for bringing a delightful comedic vibe, but unfortunately, he doesn't quite hit the mark in Acapulco. His role is mostly a narrating side character, which feels like a letdown, especially considering how prominently he's featured in the promos. The story is enjoyable enough, but it hovers around that three-star territory — good for a laid-back watch, but nothing extraordinary. It's a light, easygoing series that doesn’t overwhelm, but it’s also not a waste of time. (18/12/2021)
