inglês "Everybody else up here acts like they've never seen a black man before. Why should the bear be different?" Entertaining in the buddy moments, when the mountain man Berenger and Poitier, returning to acting after eleven years, tame the Washington mountains and the xenophobic fauna. At times, it's unexpectedly harsh (the day of the fishing lemmings), but the drawn-out finale in the Vancouver lowlands didn't suit it much. As for the reveal of the wanted criminal's identity among the five members of the fishing party, it's nice that the creators wanted to keep the audience in suspense with the casting, but the viewer already has a hunch about who in this group doesn't want to lose their head.
