A tender adventure set in late 1932/3 when a lot happened, but fortunately there are other things more important in this film. It has a strong love story in which the main boy character plays the lead. Willi Forst plays a smart-dressed spa man who's interested in the boy’s mom, so works to get to her through her son... which doesn't turn out to be a good strategy in the end. Those who like the pace of early sound films, art deco, hotel rooms, and high morals will be delighted. ()
