Dr. Alan Feinstone is a rich and successful Beverly Hills dentist. In fact, he is so much more--a fine connoisseur of music, the owner of a palatial mansion, and the proud husband of a beautiful wife. There's only one problem--he's insane. Dr. Feinstone loves perfection, and he expects it of everyone. Unfortunately, no one is perfect. This unacceptable fact annoys the good doctor and leads him to commit his one small imperfection: murder. Murder is so messy, and Dr. Feinstone hates messes. But sometimes he just can't help killing a patient or two. (texto oficial do distribuidor)

Downright disappointment. Little blood, little gore, the dentist office setting is criminally underused, lacking tension, lacking atmosphere and lacking a plot. And I refuse to add a star only for the name of the director, especially when the direction is generic most of the time. Below average. ()
Por quão absurdo é o tema de The Dentist e quão puramente no estilo de filme B é executado, é, na verdade, um filme B bastante divertido. Ou seja, se conseguir ver filmes com bastante leveza, mesmo quando Mark Ruffalo está neles. ()
The Dentist is a good movie, even if it may not live up to your expectations. This really isn't something that's overly bloody, but I think the chosen path of lesser naturalism in this case works to its advantage. The dental chair is such a familiar setting that you can easily imagine the horror, and you'll find yourself squinting during some scenes because otherwise, you might really feel queasy. ()
