Biografia (1)
Bille August (1948) is a screenwriter and director. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark. He made his debut with the drama In My Life (Honning mane, 1978). His works for young audiences include the successful films Zappa (1983) and Twist and Shout (Tro, hab og kaerlighed, 1984). His film Pelle the Conqueror (Pelle erobrere, 1987) won recognition and awards. He's also created adaptations of literary works, e.g., Jerusalem (1996) and A song for… (mais)
